Here’s how you can update your multi-factor authentication preferences step-by-step:

# Click on **Settings** > **Security** to reach the Security page in your account.
# Under the **Multi-Factor Authentication** section, click the toggle to set it to the **Off** position. This will disable MFA temporarily.
# A modal window will appear requesting your account password. Enter your password in the field provided, then click the **Disable** button to confirm.
# Now, click the MFA toggle again to set it to the **On** position, activating the multi-factor authentication feature.
# A new modal window will appear, allowing you to select how you’d like to receive your verification code. For example, if you previously used the **App** option, you can switch it to **SMS**, or the reverse.
# If you choose the **App** option, follow the instructions presented in the modal to complete the MFA setup.
# If you choose the **SMS** option, input the phone number that should receive future verification codes. This step also allows you to update your phone number if needed. Follow the remaining instructions in the modal to finish setting up MFA.
