BigCommerce Integrations[edit | edit source]
Overview[edit | edit source]
ActiveCampaign offers three methods to integrate BigCommerce with its platform:
- Deep Data Integration (Direct Integration): This is the most comprehensive integration available. For detailed instructions on setting up the Deep Data BigCommerce integration, refer to the relevant help documentation.
- Zapier Integration: This integration allows you to create or update BigCommerce contacts in ActiveCampaign, add or update ActiveCampaign contacts for new BigCommerce orders, and update contacts in BigCommerce when they are modified in ActiveCampaign. This option is available on all plan levels but requires a paid Zapier account. It is ideal for users looking to update BigCommerce contacts based on events in ActiveCampaign.
- Automatic Import: This method automatically imports contacts into ActiveCampaign lists using the automatic import tool. This integration is free and available on all plan levels, although it is not as thorough as the Deep Data integration.
Setting Up the Zapier Integration[edit | edit source]
To set up the Zapier integration, you will need:
- An ActiveCampaign account
- A BigCommerce account
- A paid Zapier account
Follow these steps to set up the integration:
- Click ActiveCampaign and BigCommerce Zap options to view the different Zap options.
- Set up your BigCommerce trigger by connecting your BigCommerce account.
- Test your BigCommerce trigger by fetching an existing customer. Click “Fetch & Continue.”
- Click “Continue” to set up your ActiveCampaign action.
- Connect your ActiveCampaign account if it’s not already connected with Zapier.
- Map the fields from BigCommerce to ActiveCampaign. Select the list you wish to add contacts to from the dropdown menu and click “Continue.”
- Click "Create & Continue" to test the ActiveCampaign action.
- Once the test is complete, click “Finish.”
- If you do not have a paid Zapier account, you will be prompted to submit payment to enable this Zap.
Setting Up the BigCommerce Automatic Import[edit | edit source]
To set up the BigCommerce automatic import, you will need:
- An ActiveCampaign account
- A BigCommerce account
Follow these steps to complete the setup:
- Navigate to the Contacts Overview page and click “Import.”
- Locate BigCommerce from the apps menu and click on it.
- In the modal pop-up, enter your API Path URL, Username, and API Token in the appropriate fields. Click “Next.”
- Select the list(s) to which your customers should be added (optional). Click “Next.”
