Editing Custom Object Records (section)

==== Delete a Custom Object Record ====

Only users in the Admin group can delete custom object records. To do this:

# Click '''Contacts''' to navigate to the Contacts Overview page.
# Locate the contact with the custom object record you wish to delete.
# Click the contact’s name to open their profile page.
# If you have multiple custom objects, use the tabs on the custom object box to locate the correct template.
# Locate the custom object record you wish to delete.
# Click the down caret next to the '''Details''' button.
# Click '''Delete'''.
# A modal window will appear. Click the '''Delete''' button.

You can also delete a custom object record from the custom object detail pane. Follow these steps:

# Click '''Contacts''' to navigate to the Contacts Overview page.
# Locate the contact with the custom object record you wish to delete.
