Editing Use labels with automations (section)

==== Create a New Label from the Automations Overview Page ====
You can create a new label for one or multiple automations.

*Creating a New Label for a Single Automation:*
1. Click '''Automations''' on the left menu.
2. Locate the automation that should receive a new label, then click the '''+''' in the "Business Goals/ Labels" column.
3. A small modal window will appear. Click the '''Add new label''' button.
4. In the new modal window:
   * Enter the label name into the field provided.
   * Select a label color.
   * Click the '''Create''' button.

The new label will appear next to the automation's name in the "Business Goals/ Labels" column and will be added to the Label Manager.

*Creating a New Label for Multiple Automations:*
1. Follow the initial steps to create a new label as above.
2. Click the checkbox next to each automation that will receive the new label.
3. Click the '''Edit (number of) automations''' button that appears above the "Automation" column.
4. Select '''Add labels''' from the "Select a bulk action" dropdown.
5. Choose your newly created label from the list and click the checkbox to select it.
6. Click the blue '''Apply''' button.

==== Apply an Existing Label ====
You can easily apply existing labels to single or multiple automations.

*Applying an Existing Label to a Single Automation:*
1. Click '''Automations''' on the left menu.
2. Locate the automation and click the '''+''' in the "Business Goals/ Labels" column.
3. In the modal window, scroll through the label list and select your desired label by clicking the checkbox on its left.

*Applying an Existing Label to Multiple Automations:*
1. Click '''Automations''' on the left menu.
2. Check the boxes for each automation requiring the label.
3. Click the '''Edit (number of) automations''' button.
4. Identify the "Select a bulk action" dropdown and choose '''Add labels'''.
5. Select the label from the list and click the checkbox to confirm.
6. Click the blue '''Apply''' button.

==== Edit a Label ====
To edit a label:
1. Click '''Settings''' in the upper right corner.
2. Choose '''Labels''' from the Settings menu.
3. Identify the label you wish to update.
4. Click the down caret next to the '''Upgrade to business goal''' button.
5. Select the '''Edit''' option.
6. In the modal window, type the updated name or choose a new color for the label.
7. Click the '''Save''' button to apply changes.

==== Remove a Label ====
A label can be removed from a single or multiple automations:

*Removing a Label from a Single Automation:*
1. Click '''Automations''' on the left menu.
2. Find the automation and click the name of the label to remove.
3. In the appearing modal, uncheck the checkbox for the label you wish to remove.

*Removing a Label from Multiple Automations:*
1. Click '''Automations''' on the left menu.
2. Check the boxes next to automations from which you want to remove the label.
3. Click the '''Edit (number of) automations''' button.
4. Select '''Remove labels''' from the "Select a bulk action" dropdown.
5. Choose the label to remove and confirm by clicking the blue '''Apply''' button.

==== Delete a Label ====
To delete a label entirely:
1. Click '''Settings''' in the upper right corner.
2. Select '''Labels''' in the Settings menu.
3. Locate the label you wish to delete.
4. Click the down caret next to the '''Upgrade to business goal''' button.
5. Choose the '''Delete''' option.
6. Confirm by clicking the '''Delete''' button in the verification modal.

To delete multiple labels at once:
1. Click '''Settings''' in the upper right corner.
2. Select '''Labels'''.
3. Check the boxes next to the labels you want to delete.
4. Click the '''Delete''' option above the label name column.
5. Confirm the deletion in the modal window.

==== Filter Automations by Label ====
Filtering automations by labels facilitates targeted views of your automations:
1. Click the '''Filter''' button above the "Automation" column.
2. In the Label dropdown menu, select the label by which you wish to filter.
3. You can select multiple labels; click the blue '''Apply''' button to view automations associated with those labels.
