To set up the '''Send SMS Message using Twilio''' action in your ActiveCampaign automation, follow these detailed instructions:

1. From your automation workflow, click on '''CX Apps''' in the right menu.
2. Drag the '''Send SMS Message using Twilio''' action to your automation timeline.
3. A modal titled '''Send SMS Message''' will open. Here, you will need to input your '''Twilio Account SID''' and '''Auth Token''' in the designated fields.

4. Next, click the '''Project''' dropdown to select the applicable Twilio Project you wish to utilize for sending SMS messages.
5. In the same dialog, click the '''Phone number''' dropdown and select the phone number you want to send SMS messages from.
   - Note: You may also use a '''Messaging Service''' from Twilio, which optimizes sending by selecting the best number from a pool based on the SMS recipient's area code.
6. Then, scroll down to the '''Enter Message''' box where you can type the SMS message that will be sent to contacts reaching this step in your automation.
   - To personalize your message, click the '''Personalize''' icon in the bottom right corner, then select appropriate personalization tags from the available options. Remember that SMS messages have a character limit of 1600, inclusive of personalization tag values.
