Follow these steps to add and configure the '''Create and update contacts in Google Contacts''' action in your automation:

# From your automation, click '''CX Apps''' in the right menu.
# Click the '''Create and update contacts in Google Contacts''' action and drag it into your automation flow.
# A dialog box will appear; click the '''Connect''' button.
# A list of Google accounts you have access to will be displayed. Select the Google account you want to link to ActiveCampaign.
# On the next screen, grant permission for ActiveCampaign to access your Google account by clicking the '''Allow''' button.
# You will be redirected back to your ActiveCampaign account, where the dialog box will show an '''Account Connected!''' message. Click '''Continue'''.
# Select the contact group(s) you would like to add contacts to. You can choose multiple groups. Contacts processed by this automation action will be added to the selected groups. To select a group, click the '''Groups''' dropdown and select the desired group name. Once done, click '''Continue'''.
# Map the contact fields in your ActiveCampaign account to the corresponding fields in Google Contacts:
   * To map the '''Email''' field, click the '''Select a Field''' dropdown next to Google Contacts, then select the appropriate field for the email address mapping.
   * You can also map additional contact fields from ActiveCampaign such as '''Last Name''', '''Phone Number''', or any custom contact fields. To add more fields, click '''Add Field Mapping''' and follow the same mapping steps.
