== Step-by-Step Instructions ==
### Step 1: Set Up Your Custom Domain for Salesforce Lightning
Before installing the ActiveCampaign app, ensure your Salesforce account has a custom domain configured.

1. In Salesforce, click on the '''gear icon''' and select '''Setup'''.
2. Navigate to '''Company Settings''' and click on '''My Domain'''.
3. Enter your desired domain name and click '''Check Availability'''.
4. After registering the domain, refresh the page within five minutes.
5. Log back into Salesforce using your new custom domain.
6. Click on the '''Deploy to users''' button.

### Step 2: Install the ActiveCampaign Salesforce App
1. Click the dots on the top left of your Salesforce account to open the app launcher, and select '''Visit AppExchange'''.
2. Search for '''ActiveCampaign''' and click on the ActiveCampaign app.
3. Click the '''Get it now''' button.
4. A modal will prompt you to log into AppExchange; select the '''Open Login Screen''' button.
5. In the modal that appears, click the '''Allow''' button to permit Salesforce to access your ActiveCampaign account.
6. Click on '''Install Here''' in the installation box that appears.
7. Agree to the '''Terms and Conditions''' and click on the '''Confirm and Install''' button.
8. Choose the '''Install for Admins Only''' option and click '''Install'''.
9. When prompted, approve third-party access and click '''Continue'''.

### Step 3: Assign Permission Sets to Salesforce Users
This integration requires two permission sets:

- '''ActiveCampaign Package Manager Permission set'''
- '''ActiveCampaign Standard User Permission set'''

To assign these:

1. Click on the '''gear icon''' for settings and navigate to '''Users''' in the setup menu.
2. Click on '''Permission Sets'''.
3. Open the relevant permission set and click on '''Manage Assignments'''.
4. Add the necessary users to each permission set by checking the boxes next to their names and clicking '''Assign'''.

### Step 4: System Connections
1. Open the App Launcher and click on '''ActiveCampaign Setup Assistant'''.
2. On the System Connections page, enter your ActiveCampaign '''account name''' and '''API key'''.
3. Click on the '''Authorize''' button to establish the connection.
4. Once successful, proceed to authorize ActiveCampaign access to Salesforce by logging in through the prompted Salesforce modal.

### Step 5: Dynamic Field Mapping
You can set up how fields from ActiveCampaign sync with Salesforce:

1. Proceed to the '''Dynamic Field Mapping''' section.
2. Map standard fields such as '''First Name''', '''Last Name''', and '''Email''' based on your preferences.
3. For any custom fields, use the '''Add Mapping''' button to establish connections between ActiveCampaign custom fields and Salesforce fields.
4. Select your desired sync options for each mapping.

### Step 6: Configure Outbound Sync Settings
Decide which Salesforce records will sync with ActiveCampaign:
