== Step-by-Step Instructions ==
### Inbound Sync: Sync Data from a Google Sheet to ActiveCampaign
To configure inbound sync, follow these steps:

1. From your ActiveCampaign account, click on '''Apps'''.
2. Search for '''Google Sheets''' and select it.
3. On the Google Sheets app page, click the '''Import Data''' button.
4. A modal window will appear. Click the '''Connect''' button.
5. Log into your Google account when prompted.
6. Click '''Allow''' to permit ActiveCampaign to access your Google Account.
7. You'll be redirected back to the setup page. Click the '''Continue''' button.
8. Use the dropdowns to select the spreadsheet and sheet you want to sync to ActiveCampaign, then click '''Continue'''.
9. On the Mapping screen, map the fields you want to sync.
   - For standard objects like Contacts, Deals, and Accounts, the required fields will be displayed.
   - Click '''Add field mapping''' to include additional fields or the trash icon to remove a mapping.
10. Decide how to handle data sync scheduling on the Schedule Sync screen. Choose between:

### Outbound Sync: Sync Contacts from ActiveCampaign to Google Sheets
To set up outbound sync:

1. Ensure you have an active automation that uses the '''Add a Row in Google Sheets''' action.
2. From your automation, click on '''CX Apps''' in the right menu.
3. Drag the '''Add a Row in Google Sheets''' action into your automation flow.
4. A modal will open; click the '''Connect''' button.
5. Choose your Google account and click '''Allow''' to grant access.
6. Select the spreadsheet and sheet to connect, then click '''Continue'''.
7. Map the contact fields to corresponding columns in your spreadsheet, making sure you check the mappings against the columns in the Google Sheet.

The row will sync in real-time to the next available row in your connected Google Sheets each time a contact moves through this action.
