== Step-by-step instructions ==
To complete the contact export process, follow these steps:

1. **Log in** to your old email service provider's account.
2. Locate the **contacts** or **address book** section within the interface.
3. Choose the option to '''export''' your contacts. This might be labeled as **Export Contacts**, **Download Contacts**, or similar, depending on your provider.
4. Select the preferred file format for your export. Common formats include CSV and Excel.
5. Confirm the export action and wait for the file to be downloaded to your device.
6. Once you have the file, you can then provide the exported contacts file to ActiveCampaign. Ensure that this list is finalized and that it only includes the contacts you wish to import into your new account.
