Follow these steps to create a task from your Gmail account:

# Locate any email from the Contact you wish to add a note to and open it. The ActiveCampaign Chrome extension will load on the right side panel.

# Select '''Add a task''' from the list of options.
# The '''Add a task''' panel will open. Enter the title of the task and provide a short description.

# Assign the task to any team member using the '''Assigned to''' dropdown field.
# Use the '''Task type''' dropdown to select the task type, whether it is a default option or a custom task type.
# The '''status dropdown''' lets you mark the task as complete or incomplete. The default status for new tasks is '''Incomplete'''.
