=== How to Create a Conversion ===
Creating a conversion involves a few straightforward steps. Here’s how to do it:

1. From the '''Conversions Overview''' page, click the '''Add a new conversion''' button.
2. The '''Create a New Conversion''' page will load, prompting you to fill in several fields:
   * **Conversion name** - Enter an internal name for the conversion here; this name will only be visible to you and other users of your ActiveCampaign account.
   * **Conversion event** - Select from one of the following options:
     * **Use a Standard Conversion Event** - Choose this for pre-built templates of common conversion events. This option allows for quick configuration.
     * **"A contact meets segment conditions"** - Utilize the segment builder to create conversion triggers. Changes only affect contacts from the time the conversion is saved.
     * **"Attribution using Javascript"** - Generate Javascript code for page implementation; a conversion triggers when the code is executed.
     * **"A URL was visited"** - Set up a conversion when contacts visit specific URLs that you define. This requires installing ActiveCampaign Site Tracking.
     * **"A tracked event"** - Facilitate a conversion when a contact completes a tracked event. This requires Event Tracking setup.
     * **Add another conversion event** - Click this to include multiple conversion events within one creation process (optional).
   * **Conversion Value** - Choose one of the following options:
     * **No value**
     * **A static value** - Choose a set value for the conversion.
     * **Get value from contact field** - Select a specific contact field that holds the conversion value.
   * **Conversion Settings** - Toggle the following settings:
     * **"Limit conversions to 1 time per contact"** - Check this if you wish to restrict the number of times the same contact can trigger this conversion.
     * **"Apply this conversion to any contacts who triggered this conversion before it was created"** - Enable this to apply the conversion retroactively to qualifying contacts.
3. After entering all required information, click the '''Create''' button.

The conversion will now be listed on the Settings > Conversions page.

=== How to Manage a Conversion ===
Once a conversion is created, you can manage it as follows:

1. Navigate back to the '''Conversions Overview''' page.
2. Click the '''Edit''' button for the conversion you wish to modify.
3. The '''Edit Conversion''' page will display all relevant details and additional settings related to the conversion.

Please note that once a conversion event is active, its configurations cannot be altered. You can, however, view which automations are triggering the conversion on the right sidebar of the Edit Conversion page.

=== How to Delete a Conversion ===
If you determine that a conversion event is no longer necessary, you can remove it easily:

*Delete one conversion:*
1. Access the '''Conversions Overview''' page.
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to the '''Edit''' button for the desired conversion.
3. Select the '''Delete''' button.
4. Confirm your choice by checking all boxes in the modal and clicking the '''Delete''' button again.

*Delete multiple conversions:*
1. Go to the '''Conversions Overview''' page.
2. Check the boxes next to the conversions you want to delete.
3. Click the '''Delete''' button that appears at the top of the conversions list.
4. Again, confirm the deletion in the modal by checking all boxes and clicking the '''Delete''' button.
