1. **Log in** to your ActiveCampaign account.
2. Go to the '''Contacts''' section from the sidebar menu.
3. Review your contacts to determine which ones you want to delete.
4. Choose your preferred method for deleting contacts:
   - **Delete contacts one by one** through the individual contact profile.
   - Use the '''Engagement Management Tool''' to remove less engaged contacts.
   - Perform '''Batch Actions''' to delete multiple contacts at once.
   - Delete contacts in bulk from the '''Contacts Overview page''' or '''Lists page'''.

5. Keep track of your monthly delete limit as you proceed to delete contacts.

If you reach your delete limit and need to remove additional contacts, you will have to follow these steps:
- **Submit a help ticket** via the ActiveCampaign support page. Make sure to include the following:
  - Your account name (e.g., “myaccount.activehosted.com”)
  - The reason for the deletion of contacts

The compliance team will subsequently review your request and reach out to you via email.
