== Step-by-Step Instructions == Follow these steps to attach files to your 1:1 emails: 1. **Connect Your Email Account** - Navigate to '''Deals''' > '''Connected Emails''' to connect your email account to ActiveCampaign. 2. **Begin Composing Your Email** - Go to the Contact, Account, or Deal record you want to send a 1:1 email from. - At the top right, click the quick action dropdown, then select **Send an email**. 3. **Write Your Email** - While composing your email, type the text you would like to hyperlink the file to, such as "click here". 4. **Highlight the Text** - Highlight the text you wish to hyperlink. If you omit this step, the file name will become your hyperlink instead. 5. **Insert a Link to a File** - Click the **Insert a link to a file** button (represented by a paperclip icon) located towards the bottom of the email. 6. **Select or Upload Your File** - **To use a previously saved file:** - Select the record from the left in the modal that appears. - Choose the file(s) you want to attach. - Click **Insert file(s)**. - **To upload a new file:** - Select **My Computer** from the left. - Click into the **Click to add or drop files** box. - Choose the file from your computer. The file will appear in the modal. - Decide whether to save the uploaded file to the record using the '''Save uploaded file to...''' option. - Click **Insert file(s)**. 7. **Complete Email Composition** - The highlighted text will now be a hyperlink to the downloadable file. - Once you are finished composing your 1:1 email, click **Send**. After sending the email, if needed, you can trigger automations when the file is downloaded using the "File is downloaded" trigger.
