The following steps will guide you through the installation and configuration of ActiveCampaign Site Tracking in your WordPress environment:

# Log into your WordPress account.
# Navigate to **Settings** > **ActiveCampaign**.
# In the settings page, locate the **Install ActiveCampaign code** toggle and set it to the "On" position. When enabled, the toggle will appear blue:

# Upon enabling, two site tracking options will appear:
   * **Track by default** – This setting is selected by default, allowing tracking of page visits and IP addresses for all known contacts without needing explicit consent.
   * **Don't track by default** – Selecting this option disables tracking of known contacts unless they provide confirmation of tracking consent. To use this feature effectively, you must create a tracking consent notice and connect it to this plugin.
# Click the **Update Settings** button to save your changes.

It’s important to note that if you wish to deactivate site tracking, you can do so by returning to the **Enable site tracking** toggle and setting it to the "Off" position.
