== Step-by-Step Instructions ==
Follow these detailed steps to configure the '''Tag''' step in your WhatsApp Messaging Flow:

# Navigate to **WhatsApp** > **Messaging Flows** in the left menu.
# To edit an existing flow:
   * Select the flow you want to edit.
   * Click on **Update** > **Steps**.
   * Click on a node (+) in the flow builder where you want to add the action. A modal window will appear.
   * Select the **Tag** option and then click the **Add** button.
# To create a new flow:
   * A modal window will appear in the Flow builder.
   * Select the **Tag** option and click the **Add** button.
# In the **Tag** modal that appears:
   * Click the pencil icon to give your step a name. It is recommended to use unique, short, and descriptive names to easily identify the tag step later.
   * For '''Conversation tags''', type to search for existing tags or create new tags tailored for your WhatsApp conversations.
   * For '''Contact tags''', type to search or create tags for contacts. These tags will appear on contact records and can be utilized to create conditions in all segment builders within ActiveCampaign.
   * Optionally, toggle on '''Append tags?'''. This enables the addition of new tags to any existing tags. If this option is not selected, the new tags will replace all current tags associated with the contact or conversation.
