== What is a Spam Trap? == Spam traps are essentially invalid or 'deceptive' email addresses that have never opted in to receive emails from any sender. As described by SpamHaus, they serve as indicators for email service providers (ESPs) to pinpoint senders who add addresses to their lists without prior permission, often reflecting poor email list management and opt-in practices. If you inadvertently send emails to these addresses, your domain or our IP address could end up on a blocklist, severely affecting your email deliverability.
