== Step-by-Step Instructions for Using the Field Breakdown Report == Once you've accessed the Field Breakdown report, you can utilize the various filter options available at the top of the report. Hereβs how to effectively use this feature: 1. **Select Your Filters**: The top of the report contains several filter options to tailor your analysis: * **Category**: Choose to view fields by '''Accounts''', '''Contacts''', or '''Deals'''. * **Field**: This filter provides a dropdown of both standard and custom fields for the selected category. Note that the '''Text area''' option (which allows multiple lines of text) is not available for this report. * **Created Date**: Filter contacts, deals, or accounts created today, last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days, or set a custom date range. * **Deal Status**: This option is specifically available for deal fields, allowing you to filter deals that are '''Open''', '''Won''', or '''Lost'''. * **Measure**: Available for deal fields only, allowing you to select whether to view the breakdown report by '''Count''' (number of instances) or '''Values''' (currency value of a deal). 2. **Viewing Data**: After selecting your filter options, click the dropdown and select your desired option. The data will begin displaying immediately, and you can only view one field at a time at this point. 3. **Data Representation**: The type of field you select determines how the information is displayed: * '''Text input''' β Table * '''Date''' β Bar chart * '''Number, Money, Drop-down menu, Multi-selection list, Radio buttons, Check box(es)''' β Pie chart For example, if you select '''Accounts''' for the category and '''Annual Revenue''' for the field, and set a custom date range, the report will visualize data as a pie chart if the field is a money field. 4. **Exporting Data**: To export data from the Field Breakdown report: 1. Hover over the report until three vertical dots appear at the top right. 2. Click the three vertical dots and select '''Download Data'''. 3. In the popup, click the '''File Format''' dropdown and choose your preferred download format: CSV, TXT, Excel, JSON, HTML, or Markdown file. 4. Click the '''Download''' button. 5. **Drilling Down**: You can click on the bar and pie charts to drill down into specific segments, enabling you to view and download a list of accounts, contacts, or deals that comprise that portion of the chart.
