== Step-by-Step Instructions ==

The Deal Overview report contains a wealth of information presented in an intuitive format. When you first access the report, the default view will typically show data for a 1-month date range. Here's how to navigate through the report:

1. **Review the Overview**:
   - The report provides the total number of deals created, marked as Won, and marked as Lost across all pipelines.
   - It displays all deal owners and the currency selected for your deals.
   - You will find several statistics, including the **Number of Deals Over Time** chart, the **Number of Deals by Value Bracket** chart, and a **Deal Owner Table**.

2. **Utilize Filtering Options**:
   At the top of the Deal Overview report, filtering options allow you to customize the data you're viewing:
   - **All Pipelines** or a **Specific Pipeline**
   - **All Deal Owners** or **Specific Deal Owners**
   - **Deal Status** (Open, Won, Lost)
   - **Currency**
   - **Date Range**

   To filter, simply click the associated dropdowns or enter a new date range. Note that upon applying a filter, the data will refresh automatically. Remember, custom views cannot be saved based on filters.

3. **Reading the Statistics Dashboard**:
   Located beneath the report filters, the Statistics Dashboard offers key metrics:
   - You can toggle between three radio buttons to display:
     - **Total number** of deals (created, Won, and Lost)
     - **Total $** value of those deals
     - **Avg $** per deal

4. **Interpreting the Deals Over Time Chart**:
   This chart visually represents the number of deals for each deal owner over time. The Y-axis indicates count, while the X-axis denotes deal owners. Utilize the options on the left of the chart to customize the insights displayed.

5. **Analyzing the Total Deals by Value Bracket Chart**:
   This chart categorizes deals into value ranges. Similar to the previous chart, you can filter and customize the displayed information.

6. **Examining the Deal Owner Table**:
   At the bottom of the report, you'll find a table detailing each deal owner’s statistics. This includes:
   - Each owner's '''Full Name'''
   - Number of '''Deals Won'''
   - Total $ won
   - Average $ won
   - Average time taken to mark a deal as won
   - Won Ratios (Count and Value)
   - Share ratios for count and value of won deals

   To filter the table by Deal Owner, use the **Owners** dropdown at the top of the report. Sorting any column can be achieved by clicking the respective header.
