Here’s a detailed guide on how to create a contact using the ActiveCampaign Chrome extension, both from your Gmail account and from the browser bar:

==== Create a contact from your Gmail account ====
1. Open your '''Gmail''' inbox.
2. Locate any email between you and the contact you wish to add and open it. The ActiveCampaign Chrome extension will load on the right side panel.
3. Click the '''Add Contact''' button. The side panel will reload with new options.
4. Provide high-level contact information:
   - Click on the fields to input the contact's name and phone number.
   - If applicable, add an '''Account''' to the contact's profile by selecting it from the '''Account''' dropdown (available for Plus, Professional, and Enterprise plans).
5. Add tags to the contact:
   - Click on the '''Tags''' view to search for and select an existing tag or create a new tag.
   - As you type in the search bar, suggested tags will appear for your selection. To create a new tag, click the '''Create''' button.
6. Enter custom contact field values listed in the '''Fields''' view:
   - Update field values by clicking the field and typing or selecting the desired value. Click outside the field to save.
   - If necessary information is not available, it can be added later.
