== Step-by-Step Instructions ==
Follow these steps to create a note using the ActiveCampaign Chrome extension:

1. Open your Gmail inbox.
2. Find any email exchange between you and the contact to whom you want to add a note and open it. The '''ActiveCampaign Chrome extension''' will load in the right-hand panel.
3. Click the '''plus symbol (+)''' located at the top right corner of the Contact card.

4. From the options presented, click '''Add a note'''.

5. The '''Add a Note''' panel will display. Type your note into the provided text space.

6. Next, select whether the note relates to a '''deal''' or a '''contact''' using the dropdown menu. Note that if the contact does not have an associated deal or if you do not have the Pipelines or Sales Engagement add-ons, the '''Deal''' option will not be available.
