This article provides an overview of the upcoming KYC (Know Your Customer) guidelines implemented by UK carriers in 2024 and the steps to register. These new guidelines aim to protect customers against spam, fraud, and malicious activities. ActiveCampaign is committed to ensuring a seamless user experience by complying with these regulations, allowing you to continue enjoying uninterrupted messaging services. These data points serve as critical identifiers to validate the authenticity of users and organizations participating in A2P communications. Carriers and regulators aim to establish a more trusted and secure messaging and voice ecosystem, helping to protect consumers from spam, fraud, and malicious actors. By ensuring that users and businesses are properly identified and verified, you contribute to fostering a safer and more reliable communication environment. === Benefits === * **Improved deliverability** - Carriers consider the newly assigned UK numbers more trustworthy, enhancing the chances of message delivery to the intended recipient. * **Two-way messaging** - This allows customers to initiate a conversation with a business through text messaging, similar to a customer service line. * **Better recognition** - Local numbers foster recipient trust and recognition, enhancing engagement. == How to register for KYC == 1.
